Hi ya'll! I just PCSd to Shaw AFB in March and have finally decided to fully delve into the world of real estate investing. First, some background on myself.
I'm from Philadelphia, PA and had lived there my entire life up until two years ago. After graduating from Temple University in 2017 and earning my commission to be an officer in the Air Force, I finally entered active duty in mid 2018. Fast forward two years and four different locations, I've settled in Columbia, SC for the foreseeable future. For the past year or so, I've been educating myself on real estate investing by reading books (many published by BiggerPockets), articles, and watching videos.
Now that I'm a semi-permanent resident in a market, I'd like to network with fellow investors. After a few months of looking for deals, I've come to realize Columbia is very competitive for investors right now and more seller friendly. With that being said, I'm still looking looking for deals on single and multi-family properties with the intention to buy and hold, flip or BRRR! Look forward to meeting some of you in the near future.
