Hi Brittney,

Thankyou for your response. I am open to any market right now as long as it fits my criterias. Would love to chat about your experience investing in Canton.
I’m in the process of getting pre-approved at the moment.

Hello BP Community!

I am Divya from Bay Area, CA. I have been listening to BP Podcasts for the past couple of years and finally feel ready to start my investment journey.

Given the high price points in the area I live, I want to start investing out of state with a relatively lower pricepoint of 100-150K. The aim is to get some cash flow in the beginning. I am exploring Ohio markets at the moment. I am open to turnkey or off-market deals requiring some rehab. I am aiming to acquire the property in the next 30-60 days.

I am aiming at adding 1 house to my portfolio per year. I would eventually want to move towards markets that offer more appreciation.

I would want to stick to B or C+ neighborhoods. I would love to connect with agents and property managers, rehab companies with more insight into the microclimate of the area.

On another note, I would love to connect with like-minded people from the bay area. Any local group/meet-up recommendations would be much appreciated.

Best,

Divya
