Thank you for your reply's. A friend of mine who has started a green energy company was approached by this company and I had read the ripoff report so I was a bit suspicious, which is why I was asking.

Thanks again! This site is always very helpful!

Well, I'm more or less done with training. I'm currently targeting my "farm area" which is my own neighborhood. We are in a great starter area, small 2 bed 1 bath homes with a few 3/2's sprinkled in. Turnover runs about 5-7 years.

I've notified all of my friends and family but since I moved out of state I have also just finished the state law class for their state and I am taking the test next week (it's a reciprocal state).

I'm also holding open houses for other Realtor's that have listings in and around my town.

And last but not least, I'm reaching out to FSBO's that have been on the market themselves for some time with no luck.

So far, I have one buyer client but no sellers.

I just keep plugging away everyday. Today I went to all the local yard sales and I also did an open house.

Any suggestions for other things to do?

Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with Angels Wealth Lenders? If so, what has been your experience with them?

Hi Mark,
Thank you for responding. I hadn't thought about checking for criminal charges, great idea!

I have just about settled on a company to join, they have a great training program and I'll also get a mentor/coach to keep me accountable and moving in the right direction.

I am having a hard time coming up with a name for a website, I do get one with the company I'm looking at but to name my own is another story...still working on that one...once I have the name it'll be a snap to put it up.

So, thanks again for the reply! Have a great day!

Hello Everyone!
I live in NH and I just had to get on here and share, I passed my exam today!

I am now looking into and interviewing with a couple of different agencies. Does anyone have any pointers on what to look for? Are there any red flags I should watch out for?

Any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My bf and I started the RD trainings months ago. We did the 3 day weekend as well as Rich U, we are still paying to take the next course. We did learn quite a bit from these workshops. We also went to the annual forum in Florida a couple of weeks ago. However, we paid for the forum without knowing what was going to be taught or who the speakers would be. Out of 3 days of all day, hour long speakers, we left with minimal new information. It was basically a 3 day sales pitch from other companies. Looking back now, we are wondering if our money wouldn't have been better spent elsewhere. We are at the point now where it's time to take action.

I am not against RD, but if I had to do it over again, I would have stuck with the motivation we got from the book and used the money we spent on training to purchase a property.

Just my opinion :)
