Updated for Show 24 with Michael LaCava. "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill is now tied for 3rd (with "Four Hour Workweek"). E-Myth and Rich Dad take the top 2 spots.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. Glad it's useful.

And thanks Mehran Kamari. I combined those rows by accident. It's fixed now.

The BiggerPockets podcasts have been an invaluable resource for information, knowledge, and inspiration. So, first, thanks guys for putting that on and thanks to all the guests as well.

One of the little nuggets at the end is the book recommendations. These are seasoned, successful professionals in the industry - so I view their recommendations as priceless! So when I am looking for my next book, I go through the show notes trying to find the next most popular book. Then I realized that this might be valuable for others as well. So I compiled all the recommended books from the 23 podcasts (as of the date of this post) into a public Google Docs spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApAzABUUOZk6dHVNcG1xXzJCM3pINTFuV0ROTnFhSFE&usp=sharing

A couple of things to note: You can export the sheet if you want to sort it a different way. Also, I added Amazon reviews as well to help in deciding on the next book. But I don’t find the 5 start averaging system to be especially useful when most things look like 4 ½ stars. So I used a modified version of a Net Promoter Score using Amazon’s rating counts as inputs. One of the modifications is there’s a negative adjustment for books with a small number of reviews because that represents a lower confidence in the score. If you’re interested in how I did it, you can export the spreadsheet or send questions.

By the way, if you decide to buy a book, it would be good to go to the show notes page (biggerpockets.com/showX) and click the link (I referenced the show number in the spreadsheet). That way BP gets a tiny cut from Amazon. Since the BP podcast was the original referrer anyway.

I hope this will be as helpful to others as it has been for me.
