Hi, My husband and I are ready to take on our first rehab project. We prefer not to use conventional financing for this project. We are not new to owning investment properties or the world of real estate, but I will admit that I am very green when it comes to OPM /hard money and private lending. Any help with the steps to take to find an investor to finance a 1st time rehab would be much appreciated. Also requirements they look for and things I should look at as red flags.

Thank you so much! Dondi

Hey Scott,

There are several wonderful property management companies in the Nashville area. Some of which focus on a niche property and area of town. Nashville is divided into many "niche" pockets which continue to grow daily.

Choosing the right fit for you may weight on the various types of units you plan to invest in and their location. Outside of a residential in house real estate brokerage, I would look into Summit Property Management. They are diverse with property location and the type properties they manage. As an agent, I have worked with them on several occasions and I've always been pleased with they way they help my clients. http://www.summitnashville.com/
