What are the BEST websites to list Properties for Lease?

We have some single family rentals and We currently list on Zillow, apartments list, and Lovely, and craigslist.

Would appreciate your help with the questions below and any other tips you might have :)

  • Wondering what websites you have found to work best to get your properties leased/rented
  • and do you know of any places that syndicate/blast out to a bunch of websites at once that is reasonable in price?

Looking for the BEST places that you have experience in using and they have proven to be successful!

Thanks!

As landlords, What are your biggest pain points? What keeps you up at night?

I would like us to talk openly about our biggest pain points and see how we might all be able to help each other.

Question for those of you who have purchased on Auction.com

Some of the properties up for auction say you can NOT get clear title.  So what do you do or how do you handle this?

any other tips / tricks of buying on Auction.com or other places you have had great sucess please post here.

Steven,

I would try aribnb, offerup and craigslist.

I would suggest that you have all applicants fill out a pre-screening via google forms which will then put it all into a spreadsheet for you.  And then any that might be candidates send them the next steps.

I would also recommend that you have a large closet in your house for your own privacy that no one else has access to or a deadbolt for privacy on your own room.

Since they will be staying with you..... think about now what your list of rules are which might be common sense to some folks and others oblivious so really think about what is ok with you and what isn't.

I would screen them just like a tennant - get credit, rental application, check background, check referances.  Get allot of referances.   For credit myfico.com has full reports.  and for background checks I typically use www.publicdata.com

hope that helps,
