I am new and am setting up an LLC with my sister for real estate investments. On the SS-4, section 9a we checked "partnership" but is that the same as a 'domestic llc' when completing the Articles of Organization? Do I need to complete an Articles of Organization form? I['m so confused on what I need to submit.

Thank you

Donna

Hi John,

Thank you for responding so quickly.  That's kind of what I was feeling in my gut. Our downtown is in the very beiginnings of a MAJOR transformation.  I have been throwing around an idea about flipping for the purpose of urban development.  Would that be a wise way to approach (this wouldn't include my personal rental units)?

Thanks again

I am a current owner of a LLC company and am now looking to start investing in realestate. Are their benefits to purchasing the rental units under my company name versus me personally?

Thank you for all the help you are able to give a newbie.

I am new to the game and shopping for my first realestate investment property in Kzoo.  I am concentrating on students/medical resident rentals and not single family.  Do you suggest renting by student, by amount of rooms or by unit?   This is a large part of my decision on what property to purchase.

Thank you
