Hello all,

I am currently in the process of purchasing my first rental property and attempting to set up a business checking and savings account. In order to do so, however, a FEIN is required. Should I register for a Sole Proprietorship or LLC, or just avoid setting up the business accounts in the first place? All advice and opinions are appreciated, thank you in advance.

Best,

Hello all,

I was wondering if it possible to do owner financing if the seller is using a real estate agent to sell the property? I am just curious if I should make this suggestion to the real estate agent for the property. Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone,

I am going for my first showing tomorrow to see a single-family home. I was wondering some good questions to ask the real estate agent and any other important things I should know. Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated and extremely helpful. Thank you!

Post: Financing While In College

Hello all,

I am currently a junior in college and looking to start investing in real estate. I originally planned to save up and wait until I was out of college to get started but I can not wait any longer! I already have enough money saved up to cover a down payment and rehab costs comfortably. I have called a local bank and like I expected they would like previous paystubs from my w2 which I do not have because I work for myself. Any suggestions on ways to present a 1099 or other ways to get financing without a w2? Thanks in advance!

Best,

Donovan James
