Thanks for the great info... Did this deal follow the 70% rule? From what I calculated out of the story, your buy price should have not exceeded $224k, which you were pretty close to at $225,937, which included the wholesale fee. I'm wondering what the profit was from this project. Still learning...Thanks!

Hi, My wife and I are new members to the forum but have followed the BP forum and podcasts for a while now. Were in a spot now where we're ready to take the next steps in RE investing. We've read the books, forums and listened to the podcast, etc...but before we make our next move, I really wanted to get involved here targeted more locally. We live south of Austin, Tx and have been targeting our first investment somewhere between South Austin and San Antonio/San Marcos/New Braunfels areas.
