Single-family residence buy & hold investment in West Des Moines.

Purchase price: $116,350

Prairie Creek Villas: 2 bed; 1.5 bath; 1,301 sqft

It was minimal. At purchase I chose to have some improvements done involving a flexible gas line and grounding. Other than that, it's just been typical upkeep/repair. Rented it out for five years now, with good tenants, and no incident.

Wanted to buy first investment property. Love the DSM area; also live abroad and wanted to get something close to home.
