I’m currently in the middle of escrow on a property found through RoofStock. It’s been good so far, they have been good with keeping things on track.

Post: Escrow and inspection findings

Hello, I’m looking for some advice on a property I’m in escrow on. The property was listed for $65k, purchasing for $63k. There is a tenant in place and pays $850 a month in rent.

The inspection found a few items that need to be fixed. I requested the seller fix the roof repairs (small fix), bathroom faucet leak, replace water heater (really old), and replace ac/furnace unit (old as well). There’s about 5 smaller things that I said I would fix.

The just responded and said they would give $2500 for everything. What would you do in this situation? Counter offer with a larger amount or walk away if they don’t agree to cover more? Thank you!
