Post: Moving driveway to enter/exit onto a different street

Hello all,

I'm looking to see if anyone has an experience or contact who can help me with a question.  I'm looking at a property currently and the drive way dumps into a somewhat busy street. This property is on a corner lot, and while looking at the property I had the thought on why the drive way couldn't be on an adjoining neighborhood (much less traffic). The home I'm looking at, while needing some work, seems like it could be a decent deal.  The only catch for me is this driveway as an issue for potential future tenants.

A quick google and it looks like it is possible with permit. Time being of the essence I'm not sure the best route to determine feasibility which could then lead to some preliminary quotes.

Thanks,

Great information and thanks for sharing your insight. You noted you see a lot of investors moving outside of Jefferson county - Do you see the rental (SFR or MFR) market's expanding outside of Jefferson County as well or will there be a delay? Getting an idea on how strong the rental markets outside of Jefferson County has been a challenge for us with the limited data available.

Hope you a have a wonderful New Year!
