Congrats on the property @Emily Hammer!!!!  I Co-Host a Mid Term Rental in Cary, NC (as well as several other cities/states).  Zillow, Furnished Finder, and FB groups are solid spots to list your property.  I'd also recommend listing it on Airbnb and VRBO (I've gotten plenty of long-term stays on Airbnb AND Vrbo)!

Awesome job @Emily Hammer. Takes a lot of courage to buy at our price points! Can't wait to see your success with it. You might try getting referral leads from other MTR/STR hosts who have a few interested parties but can only select 1. Work backward on the websites you mentioned and connect with other hosts/owners/PMs who have a similar product (2-3 bed townhomes and condos) near yours. If you can give them a referral/marketing fee for getting you in touch with a prospect that books/leases with you, could be worth the expense if you get a high quality tenant/guest; all a numbers game

Congrats, Emily! Raleigh is a great city with a ton of growth. We love both Raleigh and Charlotte. What's your unit like (bed/bath, sq. ft) and who is your guest avatar? There's a lot of talk about travel nurses but it's just one small element of the midterm rental niche. In fact, just recently, the number of travelers searching Furnished Finder for midterm rentals who are not travel medical professionals just exceeded the travel medical professionals for the first time ever and Furnished Finder is expecting that trend to continue. In other words, that site used to be used almost exclusively by travel nurses but has been discovered by the wider travel community. I find that travel nurses love 1/1s and 2/1s. Digital nomads are similar but really want a dedicated office space for anyone doing WFH so they can shut the door for conference calls and focus time. Families relocating or needing temporary housing due to property damage need bigger units - 3 bed and above. Those are some anecdotal rules of thumb, but seem to hold true in most markets.

Hey Emily, congrats on getting your first up and running! I've had the most success with Airbnb. I get a higher rate, more eyeballs, and payments are handled by the platform. It's worth listing it on there as well!

I have not yet invested in an MTR but I am very interested in this strategy and am based in Raleigh as well. How did you go about picking your location? While reviewing emails from Furnished Finder, I see the most demand for UNC Rex and WakeMed hospitals/facilities. 

Also, I believe that AirBNB will allow you to list MTRs as well, so I would suggest that you post on there as well if possible.
