Hello! My husband, Clay, and I are just starting into real estate investing in the Raleigh area. Just this week we made our first offer on a REO single-family house. Cross your fingers for us as we wait to hear back from the bank!
For now, our plan is to start by flipping homes to build up our cash and then begin to buy-and-hold rentals, as it makes sense. We are hoping to have our first purchase closed by June - Clay is a teacher and could work on and manage the rehab on his summer break.
We've been really excited in the last month to find BP and start to learn from this huge community. Thank you for sharing your insight!!!
