Hey Paul, thanks for the reply. I’m thinking of doing some kind of electrician work after school and try to make some money, but also learn quite a bit too. I’ll probably have to work for a year and save to be able to afford a house. And to be realistic a year to fix everything and possibly a long time on the market. Hope that’s somewhat realistic. Thanks

Hey Anthony, thanks for the reply. I realize now what I need to be more specific on. I guess I’m not really concerned about the ‘flipping portion’ (Electrical, plumbing, cosmetics, structural issues etc) but more on the initial purchasing aspect. When my dad bought the house he sold, he had the money to purchase it, unlike me, who will have under 15k when I graduate. Like I have not a single clue where I would start. I could easily need 10k just for a down investment on a house. I wouldn’t know where to go from there though.

Hey, I’m a junior in high school with thinking of possibly flipping houses as a living, after I graduate high school. I wouldn’t even know where to start asking questions about how I would even begin this process. I got the idea because my dad was telling me about how before I was born he and my mom flipped the house they lived in at the time and made a ton of money. I like the idea that I’d be taking a lot of risks, and how nothing is guaranteed. Could someone please give me some form of guidance on where to begin? I think this is something I could really get into and would like to have a strong general idea on where to start before I graduate high school which is about a year and a half from now. Thanks in advance for any responses. I know I should be more specific about myself but I don’t know where to start. Please ask any questions. Thanks
