Hi all,
I’m a New York City resident and am looking to research and eventually invest in an out of state market. Looking for some advice on areas where the landlord laws are friendly. Any help is much appreciated.

@Travis Timmons appreciate the advice. How long did you hold onto the condo for and did you lose money on the deal, or was it all ok but you feel like things just would of been better or faster going the single family home route?

Is this something I would be asking the real estate agent or maybe just calling up myself and asking?

Hi all,
I'm looking to get the ball rolling with possibly investing in a condo to rent out in the Hudson county area and was curious if anyone can give me some guidance or maybe talk about a few things they learned from their experience with this. I was thinking that things will probably continue to appreciate and the area will continue to grow and was looking at the investment leaning towards more value increase overtime and not something that's a hardcore cash flowing investment. I am green to this and definitely open to opinions and any advice.

Hey everyone happy new year, I’m pretty green to all of this and have a question. I’m looking to invest in either a condo or a townhome or even a single family somewhere in NJ and open to quite a few areas. Since this search is so broad is this something one realtor could help me out with or does it go by area? Looking for some guidance and advice here.
