Thank you for the input Nick. This was actually our first option to raise rent based on Chicago's 6 month water estimate.

Any advice on Submetering water in Chicago? Online search results point towards Guardian, can anyone recommend any other company to compare quotes and service? Any help would be great.

I'm Eric, my wife and I are interested in buy and hold properties. We currently have one two flat and would like to accumulate 3 more two flats or 6 more SFH in the next 4 years or so. We would like to connect with people in the Chicagoland (north - northwest side), but are open to other areas that are within our parameters. Looking forward to learning from everyone.
