If this is true, I believe this is fraud and you can have him arrested. I would call law enforcement.

I know someone that stayed for about 12 months. While they were there 2 forclosure sales fell through. Maybe it helped that they were taking care of the house while they were staying (mowing lawn, watering plants and trees, etc.)

I agree, and to expand, if I have to work into my 80's to make ends meat, I'll feel rich just having the ability.

How about the flip side? If some like Donald Trump only maintained his current holdings for one year and turned no net profit, thus having no income tax obligation, would he be considered poor?
