I am looking for a contractor to work on a SFR in Bloomington, MN. It needs a new entry door, fire door to garage, new flooring in kitchen and maybe throughout. I also need to update/renovate a full and half bathroom.

Thank you for all suggestions!

Erik

@Tyler Erickson welcome! I know there is a monthly meetup in the area as well. I have not been to it yet but am planning on go to one this month. Erik

Thanks Ryan! I will probably take you up on that sometime.

Feel free to reach out to me if you want to discuss an appraisal or anything else for that matter.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the reply! I have no idea why a lot of appraisers are now getting into it. I actually always planned on being a REI and did buy my current house in my 20's and had 2 friends as roommates. I planned on it appreciating, but i bought in December of 2005. My first investment immediately proceeded to loose about 1/3 of what i paid within 2 or 3 years.

Now that a few years have gone by (passed me by), i have accumulated a ton of knowledge and gotten over the sour taste that deal gave me.

Hello BP,

I have pondered REI for a few years and am finally going to do it. I found BP about 6 months ago after i bought Brandon's book online because of its great reviews. Since then i have been reading more and listening to podcasts. One thing i realized right away is that because of my appraisal background, i seem to know way more than enough to get started.

I am from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and am looking to start big but planning on starting small with Brrrr properties.

Thanks for welcoming me!
