I saw some screaming good deals over in Brookfield and La Grange/La Grange Park, just going by the numbers; I don't know those areas well enough to know if there are mitigating factors. This was late July, though. There were a couple of places we looked at but we decided that in-city was right for us to start. Good luck!

I've been putting off writing an intro/first deal post. Either that or I've just been too busy working that deal! Glad to see my husband got around to it, though, and the very warm welcome he received. What a great resource this site has been for us already!
