Does anyone know of a good eviction attorney in San Bernardino County?

yes, we are in California. The lease stated they were responsible for the utilities but our dad allowed the tenants to move in prior to the tenants switching the utilities under their names, in which they never ended up switching. The contract since has expired and they don’t want to move out. They have stopped paying rent.

We are going to contact a lawyer this week and see if we can offer cash for keys or start the  proper eviction notice.

1st time renting out the home and learning a lot. Month to Month rent and no current lease/ contract expired. The utility bills under the landlord's name, but the statements are going to the renter's home. The renter was advised to open the utility bills and pay them. The landlord called the utility companies and found out they are not being paid. (landlord is my dad).

1. Is it too late to ask the tenants to switch them under their name?

2. If so, what is the appropriate timeframe to provide them with enough notice to switch them over?

2. Is the landlord legally bound to pay the utilities so they don't get turned off?
