JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking to hire a reliable and experienced contractor to help upgrade my backyard with a paved patio and freestanding pergola. The project is located in Little Elm, TX, and I’d like to get started within the next few weeks.

Scope of Work:

• Install a paved patio (approx. 14 ft x 14 ft; open to pavers, stamped concrete, or other recommended materials)

• Build and install a pergola over part or all of the patio (preferably wood or composite; design recommendations welcome)

What I'm Looking For:

• Proven experience with outdoor patio/pergola projects (portfolio or photos appreciated)

• Ability to advise on materials and cost-effective options

• Licensed/insured contractor preferred

• Strong communication, timely execution, and clear estimates

• Must be familiar with local permitting requirements (if applicable)

Budget & Timeline:

• Ideal start: Within 2–4 weeks

• Completion time: 1–2 weeks, depending on complexity

Hi all,

Buying a house-hack in Little Elm Texas. It has 6 bedrooms! Moving there initially since low down then ideally want to rent some rooms to cover mortgage! We'll likely use 2 bedrooms and leave 4 bedrooms available! What is the quickest and most feasible way to transition from living there to setting up this house for passive income: leaving a property manager or somebody to take care of it! I've thought about leaving it rent by the room with property manager, airbnb by the room, or airbnb the whole house? Any suggestions?

If somebody is done this before would love to talk?
