So, while it's a great idea to learn the ropes by managing your own properties for a bit, don't forget why you are investing. It's not to work until the day you die, it's to have free time to enjoy your hard work.

 Yea who knows what the future holds once my feet hit the ground. I may find out its not for me and outsource but I'm a ways away from that at this point. I close my house hack cash out refi in 16 days I'd hope to make a few offers by then. I'd like to go for a 4 unit as my first multi so keeping my eyes peeled and offers ready...tbc

Investing in yourself will have an infinite ROI! Good luck

 Thank you!

Investing in myself is #1 I can never stop learning. I have joined meetup to find local real estate minded people and meetups.

I am looking to build a small network for myself since I'm the only one I know who wants to be in real estate.

I am trying to get into my first multifamily deal. Currently in a cash out refi phase for the down payment (ive been house hacking and ready to grow).

I am looking to connect with anyone who is ok with working with a newbie REI (other likeminded investors, HM lenders, Mortgage lenders, rehabbers, Landlords, property managers). I'm in it for long term rentals with a goal to have enough passive income where i can retire my w-2 and live life on my own terms.

I got started on bigger pockets years ago was able to buy my first single family to house hack. Depending on how you look at it, took me four years to snap out of it and continue my Vision. I am ready to go all in boom or bust!

I am currently taking property management classes at the same time looking to get into a landlord training class either way i'm jumping into my first multifamily with in the next 25-30 (when my cash out refi closes) In the meantime I have been learning as much as i can in the landlord/property management areas while still searching and analyzing deals.

I am investing in Massachusetts  and not apposed to investing out of state. I will get this done with or without you! I rather have you though ☺

My team consist of me at this time and is the reason for this post.

Thanks for reading hope to connect with you all soon.

Any GC'S in northern mass (Lawrence) can help out with this.

My curb appeal is lack luster to say the least. I need someone to come in and get it appraisal ready. It's a medium - small job can be done on your time just need it done before appraisal in the coming weeks. Also need gutters and storm sliding door or enclosed 3 season porch.

Registered.

Homeless to house hacking home owner in 3 years. Now 4 years later (Longer Than Planned) in the process of cash out refi for 20% down on a 2-3 unit property rinse and repeat (just not 4 years later this time lol).

@Jeffrey Donis

Thank You!

I will be managing the units up to a certain number then I'll hand it to a property manager hard work permitting. It's something I want to have knowledge on because when it's time to retire I'll need something to do 😆

Its been 4 years since I bought our first single primary family home. Interior renovated when I purchased it in 2017 Ive spent less than $10 in exterior changes like tree removal and paved parking spaces added. The house Has gained just under $100k in equity since I have owned it and I'm currently in the process of a cash out refinance and using it for My First multi family purchase 2-3 unit. I will be doing my own property managing even as I scale. I am also taking property management classes, Im not trying to run a management business I just want to be the best Manager I can for my tenants and when my sons old enough he will take over the management of the properties.

End goal:

Have enough cash flow  to retire my 9-5 and live life on my own terms till its time to pass it all down...

BTW I'm 37y/o trying to retire in 10 years

@Charlie Fitzgerald

would a co borrower help the situation?
