Right now, it is up to the landlord although there were times during the pandemic when we were not allowed to evict providing they could certify that their problems paying the rent was due to the pandemic. Right now I am forced to evict my tenants who were getting RAMP money because they are now five months behind. If you can apply through a different program do so. I have another tenant who is paying through an entirely different program and they pay me 3 months in advance!
Before the pandemic if tenants were going to be late in their rent I wanted to hear that from them before the rent was due not afterwards. Otherwise, they would have a late fee for sure.

Who is the power company? You need to tell them you're approved for assistance so they don't turn off the power. I gave them proof I applied and got approved and they put a note on my account to not disconnect. Took 6 weeks for the payment to post but they shouldn't have cut them off

I’ve called the number provider and they can’t seem to tell me anything but the application is under review! Duh, I know that already!
Can you message the processor on the portal?? I would 100% message them and ask for an update.
I did and mine responded to me

Yes I did
First time.....
10/24/2021 - submitted application (first time applicant)
12/07/2021 - application under review
12/08/2021 - approved pending payment
12/09/2021 - application in QC review
12/10/2021 - batched
12/15/2021 - I was told my check was sent out this today
12/21/2021 - I got the check in the mail to give to my landlord since they were not participating
01/2022 - it changed to "Application Has Been Paid"
02/08/2022 - I checked and it was that status for a while then went to "Batched"
so I guess I will get the check again if they did it like before
12/15/2021 - I submitted my recertification paperwork since it takes so long
The utilities took the longest it didn't post to my account until a week ago on 01/28/2022
does that help?

The last recertification I did was completed within days. I got a message that my recert app was approved, it stated pending, then application processed and batches. I received an email stating that I was approved, the payment amounts and date it would be sent 1/24. I received check in the mail yesterday.
Fastest time EVER. I cannot believe it!
Thanks for letting me know how it went. I submitted my first time recertification on 12/14 and haven't heard anything yet. I don't know what I should do.
