I have the opportunity to buy a SFH in Oakland well under market value. The house needs a complete rehab, including a new roof and foundation work. I'd like to convert it from a 2/1 to a 2/2 and so will need to request permits from the city.
I'm looking for a design-build firm that can be a one stop shop for me, as I will be managing this from out of state. Does any one have recommendations of who to work with? Most firms that I find online focus on people building their luxurious dream homes. My plan is to BRRR the property so I'd like to find a firm that has experience working with investors.

New long distance investor here. I have a lead on a property very close to the University of Akron that makes a lot of sense for me. As I am out of state, I need to find a property manager willing to manage it for me, and my agent's contacts don't manage college student housing. Do any of you have PMs that work in the Akron area you could recommend?
