Hi @Chukwudi Motanya I am looking for a general contractor for a renovation project. Did you end up finding any contractor you can recommend?

Sam, can you please explain what you mean by 2x and taking twice.... are you suggesting to invest in STR(like air bnb) or LTR? Thank You

That will work for about 3 minutes until the property manager finds out what he's doing, an eviction is filed, and your friend is looking for a storage unit for all of that furniture and those furnishings that he just bought. Good luck!

Thank you for your input @Andrew Johnson:

I found the below link informative and think this might be a better route as I am also considering the corporate housing business

Hello All, I hope you all had a great week and enjoying your weekend. So I got into a discussion with a fellow at the air port on my way back from NY and wanted to get your thoughts on the question. Basically, this fellow told me he had saved up $20,000 and wanted my advise on whether he should invest in short term rentals like air bnb vs flipping. I wasn't sure what advise to give because he talked about renting two apartment units and listing it on air bnb and other short term rental portal. Your inputs are appreciated. Thanks, Festus

Hello ppl,

So my lease expires in a little over 60 days and I'm suppose to make up my mind to buy a property. Here's the scenario,I've spent about 80k on renter between a period of 3yrs at my current apartment and its no longer funny. Especially now knowing that if I had paid this much on a property I own, I possibly would have gotten 50k or more in equity. The thing is I 'm single and still like my city life and central location. I thought about getting a townhouse around my area but they re well over 400k lowest plus I'd be too lonely leaving in a 2/3 bed all by myself. Is buying a 2bed condo worth it, as an investment in terms of resale? Open for advice.. Thank You.
