Hi BP, I had a question regarding how easy/difficult it would be to qualify for an FHA loan at 18 years old.
So my plan is to buy a 4-plex in a year, but I have had 0 employment history so far. I'm in the works of trying to secure a taxable income job with my mentor asap, but was wondering if 10-12 months at this job will be enough employment history for a lender to qualify me for an FHA loan for roughly $150,000-$170,000.
Any of you dealt with this? attempted this? did this for someone else in my situation? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

@Kent Clawson ofc!!! Happy to see someone followed my advice. Just as a precursor, use YouTube to understand more about how Copart works, how auctions/bids/payments work, bc there’s lots and lots of haters that post about the bad sides of copart. But once u understand the basic fees that apply, what certain labels mean, and what to expect, u can find gems 👌🏼

@Anthony Dooley Its’ funny how you call my post, which took just as long to type and your response, is suddenly ‘arbitrary stuff’ that takes up all my time. Good one! You’re assumption that all I do is make posts, when you actually have no idea what I’m doing with my time (I can guarantee you it’s much more productive than what u we’re doing at 18),

@Alexander Felice all I got from that, if you want me to be truthfully honest, is that you’re too soft. I’m literally being dead serious when I say that random posts about things like a very specific part of RE gets lots of attention, along with lots of other not-that-important topics, and I’m actually confused as to why my pretty broad questions that apply to many others on this app, such as job openings in a major city, thoughts on the future of real estate, mentoring opportunities, etc get 0, if not close to 0 attention. Idk if it’s something to do with the posting algorithms, or other issues, which is why I’m asking.

@Jason D. Exactly the point of my recent reply, and of the main post. 1- you haven’t seen what I’ve posted yet assumed u knew why I wasn’t getting responses 2- you would be correct if that’s how I talked in previous posts, but I haven’t 3- I do know how to speak professionally, and speaking unprofessionally once doesn’t equate to me having a lack of knowledge about it 4- my intentions are to actually learn why my posts aren’t getting attention (and no it’s not cuz I’m not asking a question/asking incorrect questions bc I can objectively analyze the impacts of my questions. I just recently posted a very interesting question which I’m sure you too would find interesting and I literally get 1-2 responses max, where as, for example, a pretty boring question about what type of polish to use on a cabinet gets like 24 responses lol. Makes literally no sense

@Jason D. Care to explain? Cuz according to ur logic, these reasons ur talking about should at least be semi-visible in my previous posts, which they’re objectively not and if you disagree, back it up.

I’m seeing tons of pretty ****** and uninteresting topics being posted and several people flock to them, but with my discussions, it’s deader than a cemetery. Is it because I may have accidentally turned something on/off in my settings? Or what...
Post: Becoming one of the “Greats” in REI

Hey BP community. Was curious about the responses I would get to this question so here it is.
What are your guys' thoughts on utilizing REI as a tool to become one of the ‘Greats' of the world?
(“Greats” as in, the Steve Jobs’ and Nikola Tesla’s of the world.)
(Subquestions to make you think about the previous question): How might the massive potential wealth one can accumulate, be useful for creating/inventing/solving the next big thing? , How can real estate as we know it be integrated much more tightly with the upcoming technology waves of the future? , How can the category of ‘housing’ be expanded upon (I’m talking crazy stuff like holographic housing and that sorts of stuff)? , etc.
Just want to see some viewpoints on such a vital topic
