@Preston Patterson, you are on the right track, just need a CPA to help you with your entity formation and tax strategies. There are very competent, real estate CPAs in Biggerpockets. Reach out to one you feel is a better fit for your MFR investments.

@Evan O'Brien, hi. There are two options, you can either consult with an Attorney or reach out to a real estate CPA. There are very competent, real estate friendly CPAs in Biggerpockets. Please reach out to one you feel is a better fit.
