Than is, in my opinion, one of the biggest guru scam artists n the business today. He runs these gimmick free seminars all over the country, they are advertised on radio and TV. He makes millions of dollars selling the dream and more free than not, the only thing you end up with is a nightmare. The 3 day seminar will be yet another push to higher priced training and such. Don't fall for it. In fact, this 3 day event that you will have all kinds of info tossed at you will be on general format, sensationalized to the max, made to sound like any idiot can pull it off and you don't need any previous education, experience, or money (other than credit cards to pay their fees)!

I am disgusted at the ploys this specific company uses to get people to hand over their hard earned cash. I know the game well as this is not the only company that performs these deeds, but as I stated, their employees  are taught to use any of the forms of persuasion to sell the sucker (I mean customer).

I hope you have not paid for anything yet, if you gave, get your money back now!!! There is no better place than here to start your education, much of which is free. Ad on a few purchased books, attend local RE club events, and asking questions of those in the business in your area.

I wish I could have seen this post in July last year. I went to the rich dad poor dad training and got the basics from this business. They call it CORE. For $7,000. Crazy. By that time I didn't know Bigger pockets. Their programs runs up to $34,000. On the other side of the coin I was introduced to Real estate investing and the possibilities it brings.  I believe bigger pockets is the best way to start in this business by educating yourself first and decide where you want to go. Thanks for this post.

Hi my name is Gabriel Barros. I have been learning about real estate investing for the past 2 month. I took a seminar from the rich dad company. As many of you know they provide the free 2 hour workshop, follow by the 3 day event and then the big pitch of the whole academy. I only got the foundation classes they provide. Honestly they open my mind to a whole new world of investing. But like any other person I don't have $16,000 to $32,000 for a whole program. Someone mention to me to look for bigger pockets 1 month ago and let me tell you I am hooked with the podcast. I listen to it every single day. So many ideas, strategies, mistakes to avoid and success stories to learn from this podcast's. The education you receive here is incredible.

I am a full time Chef looking for opportunities in real state to generate a second income and eventually work on my terms. My goal now is to start by using the "house hacking" strategy. I am looking to "buy and hold" and "wholesale" strategy. I hear over and over that I should start with wholesaling. I have a lot of info in my plate that I need to organize. I look forward to meet investors that I can emulate and learn from. I am a student of this industry.
