this was my first time being a landlord. 1st tenant was able to go thru insurance as there home burned down, so they rented why getting rebuilt. now new tenant just signed a two year lease, which is A+ in my book.

this is my first rental property me and my wife had purchased a new homes last April we currently rent the property for$2,495 a month. our mortgage is 2373 a month and we pay our property manager 8% of the rent is this good for us or not I thought the purpose of renting was to draw in a profit what are the options that I could do this potentially refinance but we're currently about eight years away from paying off this mortgage. Additionally the tenants just sign another two-year lease so overall we will have 3 years of rental with this one tenant.
