Thanks guys! I just signed on with KW in Greenville after a friend told me about their office. So far the team has been great as well as the trainings. If you guys would like to connect I'm definitely up for it and open to any advice you can provide! Thanks again

Welcome! The podcasts are great and full of info. I try not to get overwhelmed taking it all in. Anytime I'm in my car I turn one on and listen while I drive. Give it a shot if you don't already!

Hi, New member here from SC! I discovered DP through podcasts and have found it to be very informative. I'm currently a retail assistant store manager in the cellular world and decided it's time for a change after 8 years. Tired of not having time with family and my life revolving around them. I recently got my real estate license and am now standing at a crossroads wondering now what? I'm wanting to leave my current job but the thought of walking away from something I know so well, comfortable to me, and into the unknown is somewhat scary. Looking to connect with people and learn as much as I possibly can. Thanks for any help or tips you can provide!

Hi, New member here from SC! I discovered DP through podcasts and have found it to be very informative. I'm currently a retail assistant store manager in the cellular world and decided it's time for a change after 8 years. I recently got my real estate license and am now standing at a crossroads wondering now what? I'm wanting to leave my current job but the thought of walking away from something I know so well and comfortable to me and into the unknown is somewhat scary. I've reached out to several agents at my office and have gotten tips on how to get started and there seems to be a common theme. Many suggests cold calling, door knocking, and farming your base etc but after listening to numerous podcasts I'm hearing that door knocking and the "beggar" approach isn't necessary with proper marketing but that's where they left you hanging. Provide just enough info to peak your interest and that's it. I'd like to hear what's worked for others and other strategic approaches people have had success with? Any scripts for buyer/seller agency contracts that work. How to go from nothing to landing your first deal. Getting quality referrals and an idea of what that first contact looks like when reaching out to them. I know this stuff may sound basic for many but I've always worked in a world where business came through my doors requesting a product I sold and not me hunting them down. Sure we overcame objections and built value around us but they came in with an agenda. I'm willing to do whatever is required to succeed just looking for ideas to get going. Thanks for any help or tips you can provide!
