Thanks for your response. Investors shouldn't be a problem and EU citizens can get a mortgage in Albania with a 30% deposit. It's very common. For Albanian residents mortgages require only a 10% deposit.

Aha, I see! Well the country will be Albania. They are very open to property investment from EU citizens. You can buy easily and get a mortgage with a 30% deposit.

thanks for your response. When I say early, I mean really early - so no investors, just figuring out if it's feasible and if so, how!

I'll be doing the work but not putting in an equal cash outlay. The investors would be in Europe and the middle east.

i'm in the early stages of considering using OPM for buying short term rental properties in Europe. Has anyone got experience of this?
