My goal is to acquire enough properties and do enough flips to walk away from full-time work in 10 years. I have a lot of equity in my home that I plan on putting to use to start this. I here to get all the info I can and share my journey along the way.

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $425,000
Cash invested: $25,000

Was our first home and now our first rental.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Great location in fantastic school district, rapidly growing area, showing great potential for future rental.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Found it on Redfin and used an agent to negotiate the deal.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional financing.

How did you add value to the deal?

Gutted and renovated the entire home.

What was the outcome?

Home has nearly doubled in value.

Don't live in a house you're flipping. Its a nightmare.
