@Dakota Brown My wife and I are looking into the same thing, just started this week.  Already seems difficult, as all the properties in Hillsborough for this week were redeemed.  I searched to County Clerk website for liens, code violations, etc.  Apparently you have to look elsewhere for municipal liens and utility encumbrances.

Thanks everyone, we'll check out all these suggestions!  It's going to be a lot to digest, so I'm sure I'll have questions for everyone after reading it all.  We're excited!

Hi everyone!  My wife and I are looking to invest in something for our kids, hopefully something that can fund their college or will make a nice wedding present.  We have been talking about buying houses and renting them back out, but we don't know how to get the best bang for our buck.  Hopefully we'll be able to learn something from all of you.  We're looking forward to it!
