Hello Bigger Pocket. First off, let me say I'm really excited to have found this community.  I'm an experienced commercial property manager with 15+ years managing large shopping centers. Even though I have worked in this industry for many years I've never really had the guts to invest in my own real estate. I'm hoping the support and guidance of this website/community will help me finally get over that hump and complete my first deal... and maybe many more.

I currently reside in Rockaway, NJ and looking to invest in my current market. So far, my focus is on SFH rentals since I have property management experience. I'm not really looking to manage my properties forever, but in this expensive market it might help the numbers initially.

In any event, I'm hopeful to meet some local investors and learn as much as possible from the extremely knowledgeable group on here. Thanks in advance for any help and advice. If there is any advice I can give from a property management standpoint, please don't hesitate to ask.
