@Shannon Brennan

Hi Shannon, I too am in a situation where I need to research a reverse 103lender in South Carolina. I’d be grateful if you can point me in the right direction.

Like many who have posted before, I am in search of a tax professional to help me plan and prepare strategically for 2023, help with 2022 tax prep, and possibly even review 2021 taxes to see if an amended return is advisable. (Began real estate investing in 2021 as well as became a real estate agent in addition to my FT W-2 job) I have 2 STR in SC, but live in MD. Currently filing 2021 taxes (poorly I'm sure) with an extension. Please DM me if you are taking on new clients and can work with me and my partner in the very near future. Thanks in advance.

@Alexander Knowles  We were not familiar with the Condo-tel differential. Initially we were told ALL condos require 25-30 down payment. However, currently working on 10% down payment because it will be a second home and not a resort Condotel. Also, was not familiar with many Condo Buildings requiring use of their Property Management at an average of 60/40 split... that wasn't going to work for us. We found a property that did not require that. Lastly, allowing dogs was another big road block.

We are planning to self manage, but looking for a great cleaning company and dependable handy man. Also, planning to do some minor kitchen reno next month so any and all recommendations welcome and appreciated.

Aubrey,

We just bought a STR in North Myrtle Beach. I was very interested in, still am, STR in coastal NC. We ran into a bunch of regulations and hoops regarding financing and property management in NMB. How are things in NC in the regard?
