Hey guys, I’m working with a seller who purchased a few vacant lots almost 20 years ago at a tax sale here in Georgia. I’d like to buy them BEFORE she proceeds with the Barment Notice that she is obligated to provide the previous owners (if they are alive). Is there anything I should look out for if buying before Barment is complete? Is this even advisable? And do I need to do a quiet title after it’s done?
