Hi everyone! I'm a noob here. Let's say someone has a solid nest egg ($500K) of assets but is currently unemployed, is it still possible to get a loan for say, a multifamily property? If it is, what are the options? Thanks!

Hi everybody, I am a new college grad from the SF Bay Area that is unemployed but thankful to have caught the crypto-wave. I have lived in the SF Bay Area my whole life but it is my belief that the climate crisis will have an immensely negative impact on California, Western, and Southern States in the long run and furthermore the housing prices are so expensive here, which is why I have my eyes set on the Great Lakes Region because of the plentiful natural resources and cooler climate. I also like the idea of house-hacking multifamily properties. However, I don't know anybody from the Great Lakes Region (WI, MN, IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, NY) and I am a young noob that's just starting out. My goal is FIRE to travel, spend time with those I love, and devote time to causes like climate change which I deeply care about. Please comment or message me! I'd love to find some friends with similar thoughts or interest.
