Hello BP Family! I started thinking about RE Investing in February 2020 and realized the potential. I decided to get my foot in the door by getting my real estate license in New Jersey and starting to build myself this way. How did you get started? Looking for any and all startup stories please share yours!

I am located in Central New Jersey (CNJ) and am powering through my real estate course. I am predicting to have my NJ Real Estate license come November. I have 2 questions:
1) Any advice for a newbie real estate agent?
2) How has being a real estate agent in your market affected your investing?

Hello BP Family,
I am a newbie into real estate investing and would like to wholesale in NJ (New Jersey). I am also taking the course to become a real estate agent and recently heard it may hinder my wholesaling ability in this state. Is that true? If it is, is there any way to wholesale legally while still being an agent? i.e in another state? I’d like to do this legally without getting in trouble with the law. If worse comes to worst I’d choose one and go with it, however I wanted to pose the question to all you wise, wonderful investors. Thanks in advance!
