Hey Matt, I'm not a realtor, but would love to hear more about how you're building this. (Or what your plan was to build it)

Great question Kyle! I'm an investor but don't manage my own properties, so my goals are a bit different than some of the other responses here. I'm using AI to try to help me in the areas that I have less experience and knowledge in. For example, trying to get detailed repair costs of replacement cost for large capex items. I'm working on building something out to help with that blind spot

@Micah White Sounds great, would love to chat. And the STR isn't even launched yet, we're finishing up renovations. The plan is to get it going in the next 2 weeks, so I'm sure there is going to be plenty of new lessons

@Jonathan Klemm thanks for the message! House hack is in old town. And I chose Indiana for the affordability and regulations. Definitely hasn't appreciated as much as Chicago has in the last couple of years though!

@Arman Ahmed thanks for reaching out! The STR isn't even launched, so I can't answer the question yet. We're renovating now, and this one is a partnership with another guy who has a couple STRs. So he's going to do the management while I'm along for the ride trying to learn. LTRs are much more of my thing at this point

All of my properties are in NW Indiana, basically between Chicago and South Bend
