So true! Solid underwriting is so important! 

Yeah it has been tough to find a way in, but they are starting to get going and need another underwriter to help with the volume of deals they are receiving so luckily they reached out. 

Awesome, thank you for your input! That is the kind of things I am thinking about. I have gotten info on their experience and everyones roles, but I will definitely be asking about their long term goals now. Appreciate it.

Hello, thanks in advance for any input or advice. 

I am new to syndication and am looking at joining a GP team as an underwriter. 

I am wondering what things I should do or ask before joining? They have given me a bit of their background, experience, and some previous deals the KP has completed a full cycle on. They also gave me some information on their buy box and strategy. 

Is there anything i should be doing before onboarding?
