I’d start with reading and listening to BP podcasts so you will gain insights to the industry and offer value to whomever you approach to be your mentor!!!!

Books:

4 hour workweek

Podcasts:

BP real estate

Good luck!

I have been listening to Bigger Pockets podcasts while I am at work along with a few of my stock market podcasts. I also bought "How to Invest in Real Estate" from bigger pockets. I will have to check out Brrrr and 4 hour work week since I have already read Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Thank you for your suggestions! It has been great connecting with you.

@Corby Goade I would love to begin in a position like that. Hopefully I can find one around where I am in MN. Thank you for your advice, it is very cool to be able to interact and network with successful investors.

@Aaron W. My aunt currently owns her own broker and a few of my friends moms are real estate agents so I could begin by reaching out to them. I would eventually love to be a real instate investor earning passive income. I was thinking my way to begin would be through becoming an agent or assisting a property manager. Is there any other jobs of that sort that could help me get my foot in the door this young?

Hello! I am 18 years old and live in MN. I was wondering how I could get into real estate since I have been considering taking a gap year after high school. I have been looking at getting a job as an assistant of some sort. What other ways could I get my foot in the door?
