Thanks for all the input.  I've been using Stessa for bookkeeping and they do have a rent collection feature that I am looking into.  Zelle seems like a good option as well.

What are some methods being used for rent collection?  I have a home office and do not want tenants delivering rent to my home.  I'm considering Zelle/Venmo/CashApp etc.  What are the pros and cons of each of those?  And for tenants who do not use those what other ideas are out there other than snail mail?

I have been using Stessa online for about a year now.  There is a free and a premium (fee) version which is a little more robust.  I have not yet used it through tax season but it seems to be working very well.  I'm still keeping double books because I tried several different programs that did not work out and I don't want to trust anything until it's proven out.  Stessa has been the best so far.
