@Ivan A. Colon hey Ivan! Welcome to real estate.

I too live in Massachusetts. I am also looking to do a similar thing as you in rehabbing properties in order to grow cash and then buying rentals to grow passive income.

I would say just research as much as you can maybe join Facebook groups in order to get in touch with people who have done or are doing what you’d like to be doing. And hopefully once the world starts to get back to normalcy the Real Estate investor meetups will come back. Those are always a great opportunity to learn and network.

Best of luck!

Hey @Marc Appel! If you are looking to continue your real estate investing and expand I would definitely 1031 into a multi family. The more units the better

Hey @Oluwatimilehin Fagade! I would say you should wait until you have an idea of where you will be working and then look for something in that area. Personally I am looking for multi families I can house hack while I work up the capital to move onto bigger deals. That might work for you too

Hey guys, newbie post.

Me and my team are thinking of investing in Springfield Massachusetts. Just finished looking at a 3 unit! It would need a complete renovation before it would be ready for renters.

Is anyone familiar with the area? What sort of things should I keep in mind out here (01107).

Thanks!

Thinking of doing owner occupied for my next purchase. I have a market in mind but I am stuck with deciding financing.

What is everyone's experience with owner occupied financing? FHA, Conventional, or other forms of financing

@Dylan Foggitt

Thanks for the response! Got some things to look into
