Post: Raleigh NC - Contractor Referrals

Hello,

My business partners and I are looking for contractor referrals, preferably those that have worked with flippers in the past. We're looking for some names of General contractors as well as some MEP contractors as well.

We're looking in the Raleigh metro area.

Thanks

Hopefully this is the right section, apologies if not. The point of this post is to ask if anyone has any previous construction experience and if they wouldn't mind sharing how their experience has helped them with Real Estate investing (also if they could include a general overview of what they've invested in so far). I am a junior Construction Science and Management Major at Clemson University and I chose this major because I felt like it was a great way to get my foot in the door with Real Estate investing, however, I'm having a hard time choosing whether to specialize in Commercial or Residential construction.

I feel that Residential construction would give me a great deal of experience when it comes to buying properties and managing a rehab schedule.

However, I'm also interested in working for a Commercial company that specializes in Multi-family Apartment buildings, as I feel this would also give me experience that I could then use to join a Real Estate development or investor team or even start my own down the line.
