Hey everyone, I recently came across a 3/2 house on sale for 59,900. It's very nice and I think it would rent well being very close to MSU. But I still have issues finding the numbers for cost and I could use some help.

Typically rent ranges from $650-750 per month in the area. Estimate on Zillow for comparable homes are $68,000.

Where's a good place to get started for charting out expenses? Is there a particular form that you use? I appreciate any suggestions!

So, would it be appropriate to ask advice about properties that I'm looking at on this intro thread? There seems to be a strict policy on solicitation and seeking mentors so I just want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules...

Hey everyone!

I'm Andrew, currently a medical student and naval reserve officer who took a year off school to figure out my future. I realized that I could continue to be an employee for a hospital but never truly generate wealth. This is what I love about real estate investing. My hard earned money can actually work for me in this area and I'm excited to see it in action!
