Thank you so much. It's a lot to deal with.

Yeah, the fire is completely dealt with but the cabin is destroyed. 

We've contacted the insurance company.

just in shock. We only bought it 6 months ago and was our first STR.

We had a major fire at one of our STR properties in GA.

Has anyone ever been through this before and could give advice with the best way to 

handle this. There was a guest there at the time, he said he lit the fireplace and then put it out (but it was still smoking a little)

and he went to sleep. Then he woke up to smoke.

Any help of guidance greatly appreciated if someone has walked through this before.  We are in shock.
