You mentioned Chase v Chase. This is on appeal from the Superior Court in D.C. ruling AGAINST the hoa lien having priority. It is unclear what the appeals court will do.

Same goes for Nevada. While the federal district court has issued a ruling in favor, the Nevada Supreme Court could "split the baby" and rule that judicial foreclosure is the only avenue to foreclose out a mortgage lien. After watching the oral argument, I would be concerned that this is the way they are leaning.

Doesn't it make you nervous to have 300 properties that could swing based on that decision?

@SteveCantano - 300 is a lot. Have you mostly focused on Nevada, or have you purchased hoa liens in other states?
