Hey BP CT Fam !

I am new to the whole real estate scene and would like to introduce myself. Currently residing in Norwalk and have been renting for the past 3 years. I’ve been mainly focused on investing in stocks – mostly a Boglehead with a few stock picks here and there😊.

I have been following BP forums, podcasts, REI books over the past couple of months and absorbing as much as I can. I really like the idea of house hacking to ease into the whole world of real estate investing. From skimming the CT group it seems like areas closer to Hartford is what many of you prefer, however given the commuting time I am looking at areas within ~ 45min drive to Norwalk.

Milford, West-Haven have peaked my interest for a house hack potential and given the prices. I am looking to make connections with investors and investor friendly agents active in these markets, to learn as much as I can and take the right step into RE.

If you guys recommend other areas to look into or stay out of please let me know.

Thank you in advance for all your help and I hope I can get out of this “analysis-paralysis” soon !

Hari
