@David Silver We’ve already started on the first baby step of setting aside $1,000 for an emergency fund and once that is done we will start on the smallest debt and work our way up! We have a class we are starting that our marriage counselor is paying for as our wedding gift so that’s saving around $1,300 right there!

@David Silver we are starting Dave Ramsey’s plan next week! I love his thoughts on saving and living like no one else now to live like no one else later, but what are your thoughts when it comes to how he views debt for real estate?

@Chantel Porter thank you for the solid advice! I’m chomping at the bit to get started but I definitely need to keep in mind this is a long term investment!

@Moises R Cosme when it comes to purchasing a property though, are there potential ways to buy a property with no money down with low credit? Such as hard money?

Hey everyone!

So I’m brand new to the real estate market and need advice. I’m doing everything I can while working my 9-5 job to gain knowledge from bigger pockets and any other trustworthy source but I still don’t know how to get into my first deal. I have low credit and very little money to put down on a home because of past bad decisions. Any advice on where to start from this point?

Thanks in advance.
